Adieu Dad! You loved being in the Army and enjoyed the camaraderie of your mates, many of whom were killed. You were a D-Day veteran who fought so bravely to liberate France, Belgium and Holland and to finally defeat the Nazis in their own country. You and your generation made the world a better place to live for my generation. We can never repay that debt. Sleep well now. Keep a good light
